What is climate control?
Climate control is a feature that we offer at many of our facilities. Our climate controlled units maintain a temperature of 60 to 78 degrees. This feature helps protect your stored belongings from the extreme temperatures.
Can anybody drive onto this property or do you need a security code?
Most of our facilities have an electronic gate system which can only be opened by a security code that is assigned to each individual tenant. The code allows us to monitor who is entering and exiting the facility.
Do you sell boxes and other packing supplies?
Yes. All Storage Neighbor facilities offer a wide variety of locks, boxes and other packing supplies.
What payment options are available?
We offer month-to-month rentals as well as multi-month leases. Payments are due in advance of the current rental period. We accept cash, checks, money orders and most credit cards. For credit card users, we offer automatic payment submission for your convenience.
Is my property covered by insurance?
As a matter of law, self storage centers do not automatically provide insurance for your stored items. While losses rarely occur in centers with modern security systems and access features, it is always wise for you to make sure your possessions are covered by a rental policy. These may be obtained through your homeowner's or rental insurance policy or provider.
Can I get to my items whenever I need to?
Gate access is computer controlled and allows tenants to access their units between 6am and 9pm seven days a week. While we have standard office hours, we can be available to help you with your rental needs by appointment at other times.
What size do I need?
This depends on the quantity and type of articles you are storing as well as whether or not you need "access space" within the unit itself. Please visit "Unit Info" to determine the amount of space you will need.
Does The Storage Neighbor provide insurance?
The Storage Neighbor has partnered with Bader Insurance Company to offer you several levels of insurance at reasonable prices to give you peace of mind about your belongings being secure.
I'm ready to rent a unit, what do I need to do now?
You can reserve a unit on line or just come in. We will need to make a copy of your driver's license and a copy of your homeowner's insurance declaration page if you are not purchasing insurance through us. You will need to fill out some paperwork pertaining to your rental and we will supply you with a copy of your lease. You will also need a lock to secure your unit which we have available for purchase on site.
