The Storage Neighbor would like to take a moment to say thank you to our military veterans. Veterans Day is a holiday that allows us to celebrate, honor, and remember those who have served our country. Today President Obama visited the Arlington National Cemetery to lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknowns. He also took the time to say that the United States troops currently deployed in Iraq will be coming home at the end of the year. This year has been what many would say a victorious year.
Today, we are honoring those who serve, but it’s not just today that these men and women serve, it’s every day.

The next Alabama auction is just around the corner on Tuesday, November 8th. Check back closer to the date for more details on which locations will be participating and at what times. Each location’s auction is held at a different time throughout the day so feel free to jump from one to the next! This will be our last auction for the year 2011. We will hold auctions in January 2012 so be on the lookout for a new Auction Schedule toward the end of the 2011 year.

The Storage Neighbor locations will all become toy-drop-off sites for the widely known Toys for Tots (ToysForTots.org) drive put on by the United States Marine Corp. Each location will have a Toys for Tots drop box. We are proud to take part in such a great foundation. Toys for Tots helps children in need experience a wonderful holiday season. The toys are distributed throughout the community in which you participate in, making this drive local and personal. Everyone is welcome to participate, just bring a new, unopened toy to any of our 12 Storage Neighbor locations and drop it in the box.

The Storage Neighbor at County Line Road will host a tenant yard sale, Saturday, October 8th from 9AM-12PM. The yard sale is open for anyone to attend but you must be a current tenant to set up a table and sell items. There will be refreshments available for everyone to enjoy. Come on out and enjoy a lovely fall day while shopping around for some great bargains!
Tenants: The deadline to sign up to participate is THIS Friday, September 30th. You must pay $10 at the time of sign up.

The Storage Neighbor is proud to launch our partnership with Better World Books and CURE Childhood Cancer! Each of our Georgia locations is now equipped with a huge, bright green bin for YOU to donate any unwanted books. The Storage Neighbor will donate 10% of the net proceeds back to CURE Childhood Cancer. This is our way of helping against the number one death by disease for children, as well as fight against illiteracy. Each book you donate helps! Visit the closest Storage Neighbor location near you to participate. The bins are open to the entire community, not just Storage Neighbor residents.

The Storage Neighbor at Lilburn will be hosting a Customer Appreciation Day and Tenant Yard Sale on August 6, 2011, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. We want to show you, our customers just how much you mean to us! Bring the whole family! There will be snow cones, popcorn, a moonwalk, and clowns to face paint, all for the kids to enjoy. The event is free.
